Kenai River Fishing Report:
Sockeye are coming up the Kenai river hot and heavy. It’s a dipnet bonanza with the kickoff of the opener. Kings are not so hot since the department of fish and game closed fishing for kings till the end of July.
It’s a pink year so, as you can imagine when the Pink start running in August you’ll be lucky to get a chance at some Coho which should be running thick as well.
This concludes our 2014 Kenai River fishing report.
